Its powerful aromatic freshness lights up with the sizzle of spicy mandarin. Warm Sri Lankan sandalwood. And mellow tonka bean color its trail with leathery and bitter aromas.
Sourced from a Sri Lankan plantation that has worked with Dior for over 10 years. The Sandalwood in this fragrance boasts rich notes and exceptional qualities. It’s derived from special farming practices. It is a difficult plant to cultivate. Farmers supervise it during the early stages of growth. After that, it is ‘released’ into a totally wild plantation where nature takes its course. In this harsh, natural environment with no human intervention. Each tree pursues its growth, battling to spread its branches and thrive. Sometimes reaching 100 years of age and growing over 12 meters tall! This is what creates the unique qualities of the rare, powerful and rich Sandalwood essence of Sauvage.
